Gin Mì – Tasting Notes

The opening is complex, resinous, almost sharp, with the strong perfumes of the Wild Juniper wrapped by the woody and sweet aromas of Liquorice.
The nose immediately perceives the notes of the Riviera Ligure Lemon, whose harsh tones, however, are calmed and folded and made more complex by the addition of the Yuzu’s zest.
The Japanese fruit delivers a sophisticated scent, recalling other citrus fruits (grapefruit, orange) as well as the sweet tropical perfumes of the passion fruit.
At palate, Juniper reappears, accompanied by the characteristic, intense and dry scent of Lapsang Souchong, the quaint smoky tea from the mountains of Fujian.
The finish is long, dry, in perfect balance among the sweet perfumes of Liquorice and Rose, the zesty tones of Juniper and the citruses and the woody hints of Lapsang Souchong tea.
