A classic… revisited.
The powerful 55 degrees alcohol content of Gin Lù and its intense perfumes given by the low temperature distillation and by the unique barrel ageing process, suggest to pair this drink with a soft, full-bodied cigar such as a Cohiba Esplendido.
4 cl Gin Lù
1 small sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitter
1 dash soda water
Prepare directly into an Old Fashioned glass.
Place the sugar cube into the glass.
Put a few drops of Angostura bitter on the sugar cube.
Add a dash of soda water and mash the compound.
Add with 5 or 6 ice cubes and the gin.
Garnish with an orange slice and a Maraschino cherry
